Who We Are

The Obedekah Children’s Foundation began with a simple belief: every child and every person in need deserves care, dignity, and a chance to thrive. What started as a small effort to support orphans and vulnerable individuals has grown into a mission that uplifts entire communities.

We are more than a support organization. We are a family committed to restoring hope. Through compassion, faith, and community partnerships, we work to meet practical needs while building an environment where people feel seen, valued, and loved.

What We Do

To provide children and vulnerable adults with love, stability, education, and essential resources that support their growth and well-being.

Our Mission:

Our Vision:

To build thriving communities where every child and adult feels safe, valued, and supported with opportunities to live bright, fulfilling lives.

Meet The Founder

Agatha Obedekah founded the Obedekah Children’s Foundation after witnessing firsthand the living and learning conditions of children during her visits to Ghana. As she traveled through small villages and visited local schools and orphanages, she encountered children facing hunger, unsafe environments, and limited access to education. Seeing blind children, individuals living with leprosy, and students without basic resources deeply moved her.

One visit to an orphanage in Ghana, in particular, quickened her heart to take action. What began as a personal response to meet immediate needs soon grew into a broader commitment to serve vulnerable children and communities. Agatha began paying student school fees, supporting teachers with their education, providing school supplies, and renovating school buildings in underserved areas, primarily in Ghana and Liberia.

From these acts of service, the Obedekah Children’s Foundation was born with a mission to provide a nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive with dignity and hope.
